Competition Clutch flywheels are made of 4140 forged steel and are a one-piece design. This helps significantly in reducing the chances of ring gear separation and friction surface warpage. All flywheels can be resurfaced. The correct flywheel step can be obtained in the CCI catalog or by calling us direct. Flywheel weights vary from 8lbs to 18lbs depending on application. The ultra lightweight steel flywheel (STU suffix) is recommended for forced induction and/or track and rally racing applications. This flywheel is machined with less material to assist in quicker revving capabilities. Well-suited for Stage 3 and up clutch applications. These flywheels will work with ALL performance and stock clutch assemblies. Not all applications have the ST and STU versions available. Please verify before ordering. All flywheels are SFI certified.

This assembly provides up to 80% increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. The Brass Plus material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life. 500 mile break-in highly recommended with this set-up. 300-mile break-in REQUIRED with this set-up. (Some kits may not be supplied with all pieces. Please verify with Competition Clutch before ordering). The 2100 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate a high torque sprung disc with anti-burst steel backed Brass Plus facings all applicable bearings and the appropriate alignment.

DO NOT use with added forced induction such as turbo supercharger or NOS systems. The 2400 Series kit includes a Competition Clutch pressure plate a 6 pad Carbonetic high-torque disc assembly all applicable bearings and the appropriate alignment tool. (some kits may not be supplied with all pieces. 6-pad Carbonetic disc not used in all applications. Please contact Competition Clutch before ordering).

The 1620 Series kit includes a performance pressure plate a six-puck high torque sprung disc with Ceramic buttons all applicable bearings and the appropriate alignment tool.

The CCI twin disc provides the most economical racing clutch for the active sport compact enthusiast. This ceramic twin disc comes with a 4140 forged flywheel and a 6061 T6aluminum cover complimented with a 6150 steel diaphragm. These units are rated to hold 500 to 1235hp (depending on application).
